My name is Hao Yan. Currently, I am a Phd Student in the Department of Computer Science at Central South University under the supervision of Professor Senzhang Wang. I received my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Hefei University of Technology in 2021. From 2021 to present, I study in BigData 4 Urban Intelligence Lab lead by Professor Senzhang Wang. From August 2022 to January 2023, I interned in the Social Computing Group at Microsoft Research Asia, under the supervision of Senior Researcher Chaozhuo Li and focused on text-attributed graphs domain. From February 2023 to January 2024, I served as a remote research intern at Microsoft STCA, tracking research related to representation learning methods on text-attributed graphs.

My main research interests lie in

    League of Legends is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game in which the player controls a character ("champion") with a set of unique abilities from an isometric perspective. As of 2024, there are 168 champions available to play. Over the course of a match, champions gain levels by accruing experience points (XP) through killing enemies. Items can be acquired to increase champions' strength, and are bought with gold, which players accrue passively over time and earn actively by defeating the opposing team's minions, champions, or defensive structures. In the main game mode, Summoner's Rift, items are purchased through a shop menu available to players only when their champion is in the team's base. Each match is discrete; levels and items do not transfer from one match to another.
